　　英语学习策略是英语学习的关键因素之一。学习者因性别、英语学习喜欢度、语言水平、策略意识以及人格类型等不同，其英语学习策略选择也会有所差异。
　　作者运用整群抽样。目的抽样与便利抽样相结合的方法，采用问卷与半结构式访谈，调查了湖南、贵州、陕西3省6所师范院校的836名英语专业师范生；重点研究了学习者不同个人因素对英语学习策略使用的影响，并运用spss进行描述性统计、方差分析、事后检验、卡方检验、因子分析等数据分析，真实呈现了我国中西部地区英语专业师范生英语学习策略总体、分类和单项使用频率的现状。　　周超英，女，湖南常德人，博士研究生。研究方向为英语应用语言学、英语教育学。2006年贵州大学硕士毕业，2015年泰国苏兰拉里理工大学毕业。2006年起在湖南师范学院外国语学院任教，先后担任“基础英语”“英语语法”“中西文化对比”“毕业论文导写”等课程的教学。科研方面，先后主持湖南省哲学社会科学成果评审委员会课题、湖南省哲学社会科学基金课题、湖南省教育厅课题等多项课题：在国内外学术期刊上发表学术论文十余篇：为小学英语教研室“小学英语教师专业发展”科研团队成员。 Chapter 1 Introduction
