Sheremained there until I8I7, when she moved to Winchester to bewithin easy reach of her doctor. She died that year,aged forty-one.Four of her novels,including Pride and Prejudice, were publishedanonymously in her life-time; two more, along with severalshorter  works,  appeared  post-humously.
