本年报内容共分七章，*章为概述；第二章是方法与指标；第三章是数据质量评价；第四、五章为全国合计以及主要癌症的发病与死亡分析结果；第六章是新增的生存分析结果；第七章是附录。2014年全国肿瘤登记中心收到全国234个肿瘤登记处上报的2011年肿瘤登记数据，通过对数据质量的综合审核，有177个肿瘤登记处的数据入选本报告以反映2011年我国肿瘤登记覆盖地区癌症的发病与死亡水平，包括77个城市地区和100个农村地区。
