The book “Assembly Line Rebalancing with Non?constant Task Time Attribute” concludes my career as a Ph.D.student at Rutgers University.It is a great journey that I could never imagine I have finished in such an amazing way.Not only the unanimous passes but also the greatest ever compliments receiving from all committee members of my defense do make me feel all the gritty effort of the past four years finally starts paying off.I devote the book to my dearest grandpa Ding Can (丁灿)who is always a true believer that I can be and will be a faculty material at a university.My beloved parents, Li Jin (李进) and Ding Shangtao（丁上陶） provide me untiring, unconditional supports which lead me this far.My beautiful wife Liu Zhenyi（刘珍一）, who makes me want to be a better man since we embark on the journey of love.
