Juliet Partridge was a team editor on the first two books in the Kids' Night In series and wrote sixteen books for young children, as well as working as writer and editor on books about children's books. A former judge for the Children's Book Council of Australia Award (Eve Pownall Award for Books) she was born in England but moved to Tasmania, where she taught primary school children and also lectured at the University of Tasmania. The third book in the Kids' Night In series, Kids' Night In III, is dedicated to her.
