  • ¡¡¡¡Environmental engineering and technology is the branch of science which is concerned with the use of scientific and engineering principles for protection of human beings from the harmful effects of environment. For complete understanding of this science branch£¬ practical observation is the basic part. Field trips for university students will make them understand technology better. For this purpose£¬ School of Environmental Studies£¬ China University of Geosciences £¨ Wuhan£© organizes field trips for international students to observe and learn about various kinds of technologies and prevention regarding environment issues.
    ¡¡¡¡The main objective of this field trip is to observe and learn about various technologies and prevention regarding to environmental problems. This field trip is taken as a way to enhance whatever students learned in class£¬ and to build a bridge between that focus and a particular destination. Through this trip£¬ international students can get an opportunity to observe a particular environment that will give them first-hand experience with what they\'ve learned. During this field work£¬ the air quality detection£¬ surface water quality detection£¬ sponge city£¬ municipal wastewater treatment£¬ municipal solid waste treatment£¬ noise level detection and assessment£¬ biological system£¬ and plant survey£¬ etc. are all included£¬ which covers water£¬ air£¬ noise£¬ solid waste and ecology environmental issues. With this field work£¬ we hope the international students can have a chance to learn the environmental situation in China£¬ and measure what we have taken from managemental and technical parts. More over international students can compare the environmental control and technical measures with those applied in their own countries£¬ to understand what they have already learned in China£¬ and to intensify the interests in environmental major£¬ so that they will/can utilize it and improve the environmental protection measures from managemental and technical parts when they get back to country.
