He is best known for his work as the writer of Marvel’s GI Joe and Wolverine comics, in the 1980s and 1990s, respectively. He has also written, edited, or drawn for The Avengers, Nth Man, The ’Nam, Conan, Batman, Wonder Woman, Bizarre Adventures, X-Men, Spider-Man, Daredevil, and dozens more. His illustrations and cartoons have appeared in National Lampoon, Esquire, New York, and Rolling Stone. His most recent novel is The Death of Captain America. He has appeared on Broadway in Sondheim’s Pacific Overtures and on TV in M*A*S*H, Saturday Night Live, and Another World.
Marc Sumerak is an Eisner Award– and Harvey Award–nominated comic book writer and editor. Over the past decade and a half, Sumerak has contributed to countless tales of today's most popular characters, including the Avengers, Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men. His work has been published by Marvel Comics, DC Comics, IDW, and many others.
Mirco Pierfederici began his career in the Italian comics business working as an inker and colorist before being hired by Marvel as a cover and interior artist. He now works exclusively for Marvel, drawing titles such as The Avengers, Wolverine, X-Men, and Marvel Zombies. He also illustrated a graphic novel adaptation of the original Tron movie. He lives in Senigallia, Italy.
